I’m filling in for our biodiversity blogger Christine Berry to bring you this week’s exciting developments from The National Archives’ pond. In Christine’s last post, she talked about the pair of adult swans nesting on the lower pond: this week, the eggs hatched! Staff here managed to take these pictures, though we’re being careful not to get too close.

I Took some photos today. Dad was teaching one of the baby cygnet how to swim.anybody like to see the photos I be in national archives tomorrow

There were three cygnets and both adult swans swimming this morning – has anyone spotted the fourth?

I took some Photos of the Swans and Cygnets.one of the cygnets was so funny
i got a good photo of it,. They are geting big now.
